TNI - lathe

The machining of complex workpieces on the main and counter spindle is the focus of this CNC-turning machine. Starting with a variant with one turret for main and counter spindle machining expanding up to solutions with two turrets that can be used flexibly on the main and counter spindle, the TNI lathe series offers a wide range of diverse possibilities.

For example, a wide variety of turning spindles with spindle openings from 32 to 42 mm with radial and axial run-out down to < 0.7µm and speeds up to 8,000 rpm are available in conjunction with a wide variety of clamping systems for powerful but also sensitive clamping of the workpieces in the lathe.
Y-axes extend the application possibilities of the CNC-lathe in machining. Additionally, the set-up time for the tools is reduced. Furthermore, the fine adjustment of the tools to center height can be carried out via the NC axes of the machine tool itself.

All variants of the TNI lathe series can be automated either via Benzinger's own loading and unloading devices with the shortest possible workpiece change times or separate robot cells. The attachment of a bar feeder to the lathe also enables complete machining from the bar. State-of-the-art controls from Siemens and Fanuc with various programming options round off the overall package of this lathe.
