GORing - Lathe

The name says it all - GORing.
Equipped with a turning center the GORing lathe machine was developed especially for turning rings such as wedding and jewelry rings. The main focus lies on the highest demand for surface quality.
For example, the use of diamond tools enables shiny surfaces to be achieved even during turning.

In the GORing R2, rings are turned completely from the blank in each case. An automatic loading and unloading device coupled with a high number of insertable turning tools, a rotary table (B axis), milling spindles, and many other equipment details make the GORing R2 lathe a highly productive and flexible turning center for rings.

In conjunction with an optional Y-axis, the setup effort for the diamond tools can be significantly reduced, as the center height of the tools can be adjusted very easily via the NC axis.

Via specially developed, parameterized CNC programs paired with special user interfaces, this lathe can be programmed and operated very easily and intuitively.
